We produce custom retail displays, branded environments, trade show exhibits, dimensional graphics, and specialty fabrication projects. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Working Fabrication Manager to lead our growing fabrication department. Position Overview This is a working leadership position, not a desk job. The Working Fabrication Manager will lead the fabrication team while actively participating in production, assembly, problem-solving, project execution, and quality control. The ideal candidate enjoys being on the shop floor, building projects, mentoring employees, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily fabrication department operations Work alongside fabrication personnel on active projects Assist with fabrication, assembly, and project completion Schedule labor and prioritize production activities Train and mentor fabrication staff Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Review project requirements and determine fabrication methods Coordinate with production, installation, and project management teams Monitor department productivity and efficiency Maintain high quality standards throughout production Support installation planning and project execution Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications Minimum 8 years of fabrication experience Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of wood, plastics, metals, acrylics, and display fabrication Experience with custom displays, trade show exhibits, retail environments, signage, or experiential projects Ability to read shop drawings and fabrication plans Strong problem-solving and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Hands-on fabrication experience with common shop equipment and tools Preferred Qualifications CNC router experience Large-format graphics integration experience Trade show exhibit fabrication experience Retail fixture fabrication experience Installation and field support experience Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience What We're Looking For We are looking for a leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, solving problems, supporting the team, and building exceptional work.
