Full-Time Overview We are representing a growing food manufacturing organization seeking a Plant Superintendent to oversee daily production operations and lead the execution of the plant production plan. This individual will provide leadership to production supervisors and frontline teams while ensuring operational goals are achieved across safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day production operations through supervisors and department leadership Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently while maintaining quality and food safety standards Support and improve aseptic manufacturing processes and critical control points Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction Partner with scheduling to optimize staffing and production plans Identify and address operational, personnel, maintenance, and scheduling issues Foster strong employee engagement, accountability, and team development Collaborate with HR, Purchasing, Accounting, and other departments to support plant objectives Assist with annual budgeting and capital planning initiatives Support labor relations and adherence to company policies and procedures What They Need Experience in food manufacturing, beverage, dairy, or other high-speed CPG environments Leadership experience managing supervisors and production teams Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, scheduling, and process improvement Experience with aseptic processing is highly desirable Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills Ability to lead through change and drive operational performance What They Actually Need This is a highly visible plant leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, coaching supervisors, solving operational problems, and driving execution. They need a hands-on production leader who can balance people leadership with operational accountability in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$118,000.00 - $149,890.00 per year
