  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Machining Manager to lead our manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will oversee machining processes, manage dept production, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing, process improvement, and supply chain coordination to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the plant. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate machining operations to meet production schedules and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency. Manage supply chain activities including procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure seamless material flow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements, quality control measures, and new product introductions. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability within the machining department.

Skills Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, equipment maintenance, and assembly operations. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and drive operational excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage schedule and procedures of the Machine Department Program and operate CNC Machines to produce product from drawings, in accordance with established procedures, with limited supervision. Perform set-ups of various CNCs. Must be knowledgeable of G & M codes. Edit CNC programs for tool and / or design changes. Set up and operate manual lathe and mills. Knowledge on all measuring equipment. Edit and verify first article component run. Resolve and optimize variation of material removal rate. Operate all equipment in prudent and safe manner. Maintain a professional relationship with co-workers. Knowledge on machine tool preventative maintenance. Must work well with others. Must be willing to be cross trained to perform different functions. Insure quality procedures are followed throughout the department; insuring improved product quality, reduced scrap/rework rates, and continuous improvement which advances company quality policy. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Microsoft Office Solidworks Cam works FeatureCam 4 year of machining experience, technical school or vocational school training. Plastics machining background a plus. Motivated with follow-up skills. Strong verbal and written skills. Willing to work overtime on demand. Lift 50lbs.
