$135,000 - $175,000 / year Description Our Production Control team is a critical part of our supply chain, responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of work required to build a variety of Impulse products. As a Production Control Supervisor at Impulse, you will oversee day-to-day production control activities and drive schedule execution to meet customer commitments. You will play a key role in leading continuous improvement efforts to optimize production planning, workflow visibility, and on-time delivery across our facilities. Responsibilities Lead daily production control activities, including planning, scheduling, and work order management Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and internal milestones Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), capacity constraints, and material availability to proactively address delays Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams Ensure accurate ERP/MRP system data, including job status, routing, and inventory transactions Drive schedule adherence and implement corrective actions for production variances Support new product introduction (NPI) and transition from R D to full-rate production Analyze production metrics (on-time delivery, lead time, throughput) and implement process improvements Supervise and mentor production control/planning staff as applicable Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, including AS9100 and internal quality requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in production control, planning, or scheduling in a manufacturing environment 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience Experience working with ERP/MRP systems Strong understanding of production workflows, capacity planning, and inventory control Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, or similar quality management systems Experience supporting R D-to-production or low-rate initial production environments Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Proficiency with tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel or data visualization tools Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options , and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan .
