Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Bilingual Production Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Ana, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader with strong sheet metal fabrication experience, bilingual English and Spanish communication skills, and the ability to drive production discipline during an operational turnaround and cultural reset. The Bilingual Production Supervisor will support day-to-day production floor operations, partner closely with production leadership, and help convert backlog into on-time shipments and revenue. This position offers the opportunity to make a visible impact by improving on-time delivery, strengthening production controls, increasing labor tracking accuracy, and building a more accountable, team-oriented manufacturing culture. This is a strong opportunity for a supervisor who enjoys leading from the floor, coaching operators and leads, improving workflow, and bringing calm, structured execution to a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a setting that values supportive leadership, teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and long-term operational stability. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the Production Control System, including daily ship commitments, hot jobs, bottleneck control, clocking compliance, and job release discipline.
  • Own shift-level production execution by driving daily shipment targets, work order priorities, backlog reduction, and improved on-time delivery.
  • Enforce accurate labor clock-in and clock-out practices in Global Shop and ensure the system remains the single source of truth for job status, labor, and scheduling priorities.
  • Lead daily production huddles focused on shipment commitments, bottlenecks, recovery actions, and accountability across the production floor.
  • Coach operators and leads on production flow rules, priority adherence, system usage, and disciplined execution.
  • Identify constraints, waste, blocked work orders, and flow disruptions while partnering with management to improve routings, standards, and manufacturability. Compensation and Benefits
  • Direct hire opportunity.
  • Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
