• Full-time SUMMARY Assume leadership responsibility for day-to-day production floor operations during operational turnaround and cultural reset.

Assist the Production Manager in executing a disciplined production control system focused on converting backlog into on-time shipments and revenue. The Production Supervisor is accountable for execution, system discipline, and coaching behaviors aligned to Production Control System, including daily ship commitments, labor clocking compliance, job release discipline, and bottleneck management. This role is critical to stabilizing flow, improving on-time delivery, enforcing Global Shop usage, and embedding Fabcon's performance-driven culture. Demonstrate the company's vision, mission, and values by leading from the floor, enforcing standards consistently, and modeling accountability, urgency, and teamwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Execution & Turnaround Leadership

• Execute Production Control System, including: o Daily Ship Commitment Board o Hot Jobs & Bottleneck Control o Clocking Compliance Board o Job Release Checklist
• Own shift-level execution of daily shipment targets and work order priorities.
• Treat backlog as future cash and actively drive aging reduction through disciplined execution.
• Ensure work is released only when fully ready (material, revision, routing, tooling, OP, FAI requirements). System Discipline & Accountability
• Enforce 100% labor clock-in / clock-out in Global Shop with no exceptions.
• Ensure Global Shop is the single source of truth for job status, labor, and priorities.
• Identify and escalate late, blocked, or at-risk work orders daily.
• Eliminate workarounds, shadow systems, and informal scheduling practices. Leadership & Coaching
• Lead daily production huddles focused on shipment commitments, bottlenecks, and recovery actions.
• Coach operators and leads on proper system use, flow rules, and priority adherence.
• Promote calm, disciplined execution over expediting and firefighting.
• Hold team members accountable while maintaining a respectful, team-oriented culture. Continuous Improvement
• Identify constraints, waste, and flow disruptions; partner with management to remove barriers.
• Support improvements to routings, standards, and manufacturability.
• Participate in transformation initiatives and KPI reviews.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Business or Engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a production or operations role.
• Experience leading teams through change, increased accountability, or operational improvement strongly preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be bilingual (English / Spanish).
• Ability to communicate expectations clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to apply appropriate mathematical methods to support production planning, labor awareness, and problem solving.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training strongly preferred.
