In this role, you will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate team efforts, and ensure the efficient production of high-quality doors and millwork products. Your leadership will drive safety, productivity, and craftsmanship, helping to meet project deadlines and uphold our commitment to excellence. M-F 4am-230pm Duties Supervise daily operations within the door shop with 14 employees currently, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently and safely Lead and coordinate a team of workers engaged in assembly, fabrication, and finishing of doors and millwork components Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to assist with fabrication tasks when necessary Oversee materials handling, inventory management, and proper storage of raw materials and finished products Ensure compliance with safety protocols by conducting regular safety inspections and enforcing proper use of equipment such as forklifts Provide training on the use of tools, machinery, and safety procedures to new team members Collaborate with project managers and other departments to meet deadlines and quality standards Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or carpentry with a focus on millwork or door fabrication Strong mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, and fabrication processes for Prehung Doors Hands-on proficiency with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other materials handling equipment Knowledge of construction principles as they relate to door manufacturing and installation Warehouse experience preferred for managing inventory and materials flow Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments Bilingual in Spanish Join us as a Door Shop Foreman where your expertise will shape quality products while fostering a safe, productive work environment.
