What you need to have:
  • Technical skills: Strong understanding of assembly processes, familiarity with hand and power tools, and knowledge of relevant safety, quality, lean manufacturing, and
ISO 9001
standards.
  • Education and experience: Three or more years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Associates degree or higher preferred.
Leadership:
Experience in leading, motivating, and guiding a team, writing performance reviews, fostering a positive work environment and driving performance.
    Communication:
    Strong verbal and written skills for clear instruction delivery, effective feedback, and collaboration with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
    • Industrial manufacturing: Experience with fabrication, electrical and mechanical assembly, including ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Inventory management: Experience with bills of material and inventory location management.
    Teamwork:
    Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
    • Lean manufacturing: Experience and understanding of lean techniques such as 5S compliance, flow and pull concepts. What we would like you to have:
    • English and Spanish speaking
    • Process mapping experience.

    2015 experience.
    • Experience creating work instructions.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    This includes but is not limited to:
      Production Oversight:
      Monitoring assembly processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production targets, and resolving production problems.
        Team Management:
        Leading, motivating, and coaching production staff, including training new employees and handling performance management.
          Quality Control:
          Monitoring product quality and ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
            Safety Compliance:
            Enforcing safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring proper equipment usage and maintenance.
              Problem Solving:
              Identifying and addressing production issues, implementing solutions, and suggesting improvements to increase efficiency. Applying Cause and Effect method.
                Documentation:
                Performing and maintaining records of production data, employee performance, and other relevant information.
                  Reducing Waste:
                  Identifying target areas in production processes and implementing strategies to reduce waste, improve cycled time and output.
                    Communication and Coordination:
                    Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering and management, to facilitate smooth workflows and resolve issues.
                    Physical Requirements:
                    Mobility to work in office and factory setting including use of standard office equipment, including a computer. Comfortable working directly in a manufacturing facility and adhering to PPE requirements. Able to work a shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 6:00 am-2:00 pm. Some travel may be required.
                    Salary Range:
                    $27.00/hr to $36.00/hr depending on experience
