Job Description

Compounding Team Lead (1st Shift)
Pay:
$25-$30/hour Overview We're seeking a hands-on Compounding Team Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production quality and safety standards, and drive team performance in a fast-paced environment. This is a demanding leadership position with 24-hour departmental responsibility, requiring full ownership of operations, performance, and results. In-depth knowledge of compounding processes is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Promote a safe work environment and
OSHA/EHS
compliance Assign and prioritize workload to meet production targets, throughput, and efficiency goals Ensure quality control standards and accurate execution of processes Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support employee development Lead training for production staff on processes, procedures, and policies Audit compliance with SOPs (standard operating procedures) and work instructions Maintain accurate production data, reporting, and system entries Support continuous improvement initiatives and problem resolution Provide leadership support, including cross-shift coordination as needed Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial leadership roles Compounding experience in plastics, polymers, or metal injection molding (MIM) preferred Strong skills in team leadership, scheduling, and workflow management Ability to read and interpret production reports and KPIs Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Basic computer skills (ERP systems experience a plus) Exceptional attendance required and flexibility for extended hours, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays •
