About the Role As a Manufacturing Floor Lead, you will drive operational excellence by overseeing daily production activities and leading a dedicated team to meet high-volume output goals. You will leverage your expertise in production optimization and team leadership to ensure that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently exceeded in a dynamic industrial setting. Responsibilities Direct and synchronize shift-wide production tasks to ensure seamless workflow and target attainment. Mentor and develop personnel to foster a high-performance culture while maintaining alignment with collective bargaining agreements. Optimize resource allocation, including staffing and equipment utilization, to maximize facility throughput. Champion a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous EHS protocols and maintaining an organized, hazard-free workspace. Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement timely solutions that improve overall operational performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve technical challenges and streamline processes. Generate accurate shift reports and performance summaries to provide actionable insights for management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant-wide productivity and reduce waste. Qualifications Required Skills 3-5 years of proven supervisory experience within a manufacturing or industrial facility. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate unionized workforces effectively. Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production tracking software. Expertise in industrial safety standards and EHS management practices. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting production priorities. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical field. Hands-on experience utilizing ERP systems for inventory and production management. Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
