We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Design Production Manager to oversee event production operations, lead production teams, and ensure flawless execution from concept through installation and breakdown. Position Overview The Event Design Production Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of event production, including staffing, logistics, installations, warehouse coordination, and on-site execution. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a production team in fast-paced event environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, dependable, and brings a positive attitude to every project and event. Responsibilities Manage and lead production teams for events, installations, and breakdowns Supervise, schedule, and coordinate production staff to ensure smooth event execution Manage team performance and maintain clear communication across all departments Coordinate event logistics, timelines, labor schedules, and production operations Oversee warehouse preparation, loading, transportation, and inventory organization Read and interpret floorplans, renderings, layouts, and production documents Ensure production builds are executed safely, efficiently, and to JW Design standards Collaborate closely with design teams, vendors, and event staff Troubleshoot production challenges and provide on-site leadership during events Maintain quality control and ensure timely completion of all production elements Operate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in event production management or a related field Proven experience managing and leading production teams for events Strong knowledge of the event industry and production operations Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and extended event hours as needed Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management skills Ability to read and understand floorplans, renderings, and event layouts Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, tools, and event installation techniques Ability to delegate tasks, motivate teams, and manage high-pressure event environments Must possess a valid driver's license Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset Ability to lift, move, and manage physical production tasks when necessary Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills Experience with luxury events, weddings, corporate events, or experiential productions Warehouse and inventory management experience Familiarity with event fabrication and scenic production Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus What We Offer Opportunity to work on high-end, creative event productions Collaborative and dynamic work environment Growth opportunities within JW Design Competitive compensation based on experience Pay:
