Job Description
Job Overview Plant Supervisor hands on, oversseeing the 2nd shift hours 2 pm to 10 pm, loading of trucks and overseeing metals fabrication in shop. In this role, you will lead logistics and production teams to achieve operational excellence, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in steel fabrication, supply chain logistics, will be vital in maintaining high-quality output and optimizing plant performance. Duties Lead and coordinate all activities of the 2nd shift production team to meet daily production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards Oversee supply chain management and logistics coordination to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods Monitor manufacturing processes, conduct quality control checks, and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues to maintain high standards of product quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operations management, supply chain analytics, and process optimization initiatives Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols, conducting training sessions, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to metal fabrication. Hands-on mechanical knowledge coupled with expertise in quality control practices Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing operations during second shifts or non-standard hours Experience with supply chain analytics, manufacturing workflows, and operations management tools is highly desirable Join us as a Plant Supervisor 2nd Shift where your leadership fuels innovation!
