Position Overview The Event Production Supervisor is a full-time position responsible for leading onsite teams through the installation and strike of event environments. This role blends operational leadership, team management, and hands-on problem solving to support the full lifecycle of an event—from load-in to teardown. You will coordinate resources, manage small teams, uphold quality standards, and collaborate across departments to bring event designs to life. While fabrication knowledge is a plus, the emphasis is on orchestrating production rather than personally building every element.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Execution & Onsite Leadership Lead and supervise install and strike teams to execute event setups with precision and efficiency. Communicate priorities, timelines, and quality expectations to ensure team alignment. Troubleshoot onsite challenges and adjust plans in real time to maintain excellence. Maintain professionalism and composure during fast-paced or time-sensitive environments. Operational Planning & Logistics Coordinate load-in, setup, event operations, and teardown for assigned events. Partner with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure all inventory and décor pieces are prepped and event-ready. Manage transportation, fleet usage, and resource allocation. Identify operational needs and solve challenges proactively before they impact execution. Team Management & Training Motivate and guide team members, reinforcing MERGE's standards for quality, pace, and service. Support training, coaching, and the improvement of operational processes. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, humility, and excellence. Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination Collaborate with design, sales, and leadership to translate concepts into actionable production plans. Partner with third-party vendors, rental companies, or additional labor as needed. Interact with clients onsite with professionalism and confidence. Quality Control & Safety Ensure installations meet MERGE's standards of detail, stability, creativity, and professionalism. Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance across all aspects of the job. Conduct pre-event and post-event quality checks and inventory tracking. What We're Looking For:

Comfortable using basic tools and equipment (preferred). Fabrication & Technical Skills (Preferred but not required) Knowledge and experience with basic tools and repair techniques to adjust or modify scenic elements onsite when necessary. Assistance with custom builds in collaboration with design and fabrication teams. Schedule Requirements This is a full-time role , requiring availability for evenings, early mornings, weekends, and occasional travel. Compensation & Details Status:

$18-$25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Paid Time Off:
