The
- Production Shift Lead
- is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the shift covering all production departments. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.
- Must be able to:
- + Time on Production Floor-knows processes and equipment.
+ Monitors performance and achieves objectives related to safety, quality, environmental efficacy, timelines and cost effectiveness of work within the shift(s). + Provide leadership, direction, and scheduling to members of shift. + Ensure employees meet standards for production and safety. + Manage and utilize all available resources to achieve production and productivity goals. + Understand and consistently enforces company policies and practices. + Identify opportunities for training and development of employees. + Drive continuous improvement and document change.
Requirement & Qualification:
- + Must be able to work 2nd shift, M-F, 2:00pm to 10:30pm + High School diploma + 1 or more years of manufacturing supervision experience.
+ Proficient with measuring equipment. + Strong analytical, problem solving, project management and organizational skills. + Knowledge of products, equipment, and processes. + Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office, spreadsheet software and QAD). + Must have critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses or alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must be a strategic thinker and have a strong focus on profitability. + Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Project). + Must be able to work well in a team environment, adapt to change and obtain the ability to directly influence in a positive manner.
