Job Description

Florida Silt Fencing is Hiring a Foreman! Are you an experienced leader who thrives in hands-on, outdoor work? Florida Silt Fencing is looking for a Foreman to lead our erosion control crews! What You'll Do:
Lead and manage a 3-4 person crew on construction sites Ensure proper installation and repair of erosion control measures (silt fence, erosion logs, etc.) Communicate with customers and maintain professional relationships Keep all safety and DOT regulations in practice Operate trenchers, trucks, and other equipment as needed Handle job site inspections, reporting, and paperwork
What We're Looking For:
Valid Driver's License with a clean MVR; Class A CDL preferred Pass a drug screen and comply with workplace safety policies
Experience:
1-3 years in leadership, 2-4 years in construction or erosion control Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to operate equipment (trenchers, trucks, side-by-sides) Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working outdoors in various conditions Strong multitasking and organizational skills to manage crews and job sites Effective communication in English; Spanish is a plus Excellent supervisory and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel with some overnight stays possible
