Full time Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Central Processing Shift Supervisor to support daily production operations and help ensure the efficient flow of donated goods . This role is essential in assisting leadership with meeting production and payroll goals while fostering a positive, mission ‑ driven work environment. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to lead staff to consistently meet production standards, customer service expectations, and company policies in support of Goodwill's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management team in achieving departmental production and payroll goals in alignment with budget expectations. Supervise, train, and support staff to ensure compliance with production standards, merchandise quality, customer service expectations, and mission integration. Provide excellent customer service to retail stores, administrative staff, vendors, and donors. Promote adherence to all company policies , procedures , and s afety standards throughout central processing operations. Assist with daily workflow coordination to maintain productivity, accuracy, and efficiency. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Central Production Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required . Previous retail sales experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Strong interpersonal, communication, and time ‑ management skills. Ability to work effectively in fast ‑ paced or stressful conditions while exercising good judgment. Ability to understand, follow, and communicate oral and written instructions . Ability to read, speak, hear, and write in English and perform basic business ‑ related mathematics . Physical ability to stand for long hours and bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, lift, and carry items weighing at least 40 pounds . Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures, including both major and minor work rules . Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays . Willingness to occasionally work outdoors in fluctuating weather conditions . Why Goodwill?
