Job Summary:

To ensure the production meets all of the expected standards of producing quality parts to our customers on time. Ensure that all employees follow all safety protocols, and company policies with regard to work hours, break time, work schedules and assignments.

Specific Duties:

• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Supervises all production floor activity and its employees
• Assist with all mechanical and operational issues, set ups, coordinates with Tooling Dept and Maintenance.
• Ensures all employees, new hires, have received a proper orientation, training to the assignment and safety protocols
• Acts as the liaison between Shipping, Maintenance, Tooling, and Production
• Responsible for establishing cross-training needs for teams and implementing plans to reach those goals.
• Assigns employees, under the direction of the Manager, to jobs within their work area.
• Operate any job within the work area as required due to absences of team members.
• Oversees, monitors, and coordinates production team activities, giving importance to individual member's and overall team's achievement of established goals.
• Ensures team's goals are aligned with and representative of the overall company's directive.
• Acts as liaison between team members and the rest of the organization.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Communicates job related information as needed to ensure a smooth flow of the line.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

College BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED required Seven or more years manufacturing experience required. Prior supervisory experience a plus. Ability to read and understand work instructions. Must be able to complete process paperwork as required. Mathematical aptitude a plus. Experience in participating in multi
