QUIKRETE
® Companies, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Jacksonville, FL Facility. We are looking for a SAFETY minded production supervisor with expertise in: Production, leadership, and a well-rounded team mentality. This position will require overtime and some weekend work during the peak season. We offer competitive salary and benefits.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Always comply with all safety rules and regulations. Be a professional with leadership capability. Maintain a "Safety First" attitude. Have a "get it done & hands on" attitude with a strong work ethic, Take responsibility for all aspects of high-speed production line supervision. Provide the necessary leadership and direction to meet housekeeping standards Perform housekeeping duties in the work areas. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to operate and work around industrial machinery. Cannot be afraid of heights or enclosed spaces. Must be able to wear respirators, safety glasses, and or hearing protection in required areas. Must be able to work with others with limited supervision. Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands. Must be able to carry, lift/lower, push/pull up to 95lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Varying weather conditions in the local area including temperature extremes, dust, rain, and wind. Hearing protection and respiratory use required in designated locations. Requires the physical endurance to work 50-60 hours per week over a period of 5 to 7 days. Requires the ability to climb heights (steps, ladders, and ramp walkways with handrails).
