Job Description

Description Are you a strong leader with manufacturing experience and a passion for safety, team development, and operational excellence? Join the Mann+Hummel team as a Production Supervisor and help drive production success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Position Summary The Production Supervisor directs and manages production operations and employees with overall responsibility for production, quality, safety, and operational performance. This role is responsible for leading teams, improving efficiencies, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring compliance with company policies and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities ✔ Supervise daily production operations and workflow ✔ Prepare work schedules and assign duties to employees ✔ Hire, train, mentor, coach, and develop team members ✔ Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards ✔ Monitor employee attendance, startup, breaks, and lunch schedules ✔ Improve operational efficiency and standardize processes ✔ Control labor overtime and optimize staffing needs ✔ Ensure plant cleanliness and organization (5S standards) ✔ Report daily production output and operational issues ✔ Collaborate with plant leadership to meet production goals ✔ Maintain a strong "Safety First" culture using the
STOP, CALL, WAIT
system
Qualifications & Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred) Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading large teams in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics Experience with employee coaching, counseling, training, performance management, and corrective action Manufacturing and/or logistics industry experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Microsoft Office proficiency ( Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint ) Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be authorized to work in the
United States Preferred:
Lean Manufacturing experience ERP/Sage system experience Forklift certification or experience Knowledge of raw materials planning and production scheduling Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, machinery, and varying temperatures ( 45°F-95°F+ ). Noise levels may be loud.
