Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Curb Crew Foreman / Curb Machine Supervisor to lead our curb installation operations. If you have experience operating curb machines, managing crews, and delivering high-quality concrete curb projects safely and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you. Curb Crew Foreman / Curb Machine Supervisor We are seeking a hands-on leader with experience operating Curb Dog, Gomaco, Power Curber, Miller Curber, or similar curb extrusion equipment . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of roadway, site development, utility, or civil construction projects. Experience working on FDOT or other DOT/public infrastructure projects is highly preferred but not required. Responsibilities Supervise and lead curb installation crews on roadway, commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Operate curb machines as needed and provide hands-on support to the crew. Coordinate daily activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Read and interpret plans, grades, layouts, and project specifications. Monitor production, quality control, and compliance with project requirements. Train, mentor, and develop crew members. Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower needs with project management. Perform daily equipment inspections and oversee preventative maintenance. Maintain accurate project records, production reports, and safety documentation. Ensure all work is completed to company, customer, and project quality standards. Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Requirements Minimum 5 years of curb machine experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Experience operating Curb Dog, Gomaco, Power Curber, Miller Curber, or similar curb machines. Knowledge of roadway, sitework, utility, civil, or concrete construction practices. Experience with FDOT, municipal, county, DOT, or other public works specifications is preferred. Ability to read construction plans, grades, and layout information. Strong understanding of concrete placement, production, and finishing practices. Proven ability to manage crews, coordinate work activities, and maintain project schedules. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred). Dependable, organized, and safety-focused. Physically capable of working in Florida's demanding outdoor environment, including prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, sun, rain, and changing weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job-site duties such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
