Full-Time Job Description Custom Industrial Products is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to oversee all fabrication operations, including welding, machining, production scheduling, quality control, safety, and personnel management. This position will oversee a team of approximately eight employees and is responsible for ensuring fabrication activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards while supporting production goals and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all fabrication department operations, including welding and machining activities. Lead, develop, and support fabrication personnel and department leads. Coordinate production schedules and resources to meet production goals and delivery commitments. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, consumables, and components required for fabrication operations. Monitor department performance, productivity, quality, and safety standards. Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to resolve issues and improve processes. Perform quality control inspections of fabricated components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated safely. Assist with staffing, training, performance management, and employee development. Promote continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of fabrication or manufacturing experience required. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong knowledge of welding, machining, fabrication processes, inventory management, and production scheduling. Education High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is preferred. Welding certification preferred. Must be able to obtain welding certification through Custom Industrial Products. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

From $65,000.00 per year
