Directly supervise and coordinate activities of a specialty installation contractor doing business in Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, Georgia, and Colorado. Supervise the installation and renovation of commercial buildings including hotels and banks. Inspect progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met. Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction and installation requirements to plan shop drawings and specifications. Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of installers and tradesman. Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs. Constantly lift, twist, bend, pull and climb for an extended period. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. Willing to work in inclement weather conditions including heat, humidity, and sun without air conditioning. Assure workers maintain a safe and clean work environment. Once the worksite is determined the beneficiary will work in one location for the duration of employment. Travel is not required but work is performed daily at customer job sites not at the employer's address.
Requirements:
Two years experience as a construction supervisor, manager, or Superintendent plus 8 hour EPA RRP lead safe certified renovator or similar
