Production Supervisor

Job Title:

Production Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and savvy Production Supervisor to lead our team in meeting customer needs and achieving the highest standards in manufacturing costs, quality, efficiencies, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate will guide a team of manufacturing and production employees to excel in performance standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, line utilization, and product quality. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of manufacturing employees to ensure adherence to performance standards. Follow daily production schedules and communicate any shortages to plant management and associates. Monitor and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime. Set expectations, provide feedback, and recognize good performance among frontline employees. Ensure compliance with all production and safety regulations. Maintain high sanitary standards for food manufacturing and readiness for audits and inspections. Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and improvements on the production line. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain high product quality. Minimize rework and maximize production yields. Monitor department for accuracy in codes, packaging, and dates. Inspect production areas to ensure safety and efficiency. Enforce company rules, policies, and procedures, and administer disciplinary action when necessary. Investigate accidents promptly and report to the appropriate manager. Adhere to GMP, SOPs, and OSHA safety rules. Essential Skills Experience in a plant supervisory position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to run production equipment and work in a cold environment. Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing company. Planning and project management experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish. Protein production experience in beef, pork, chicken, or seafood processing. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a fast-paced production facility with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, with days off on Thursday and Sunday. The position requires working in a cold environment and following strict safety and sanitary standards. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Doral, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
