Production Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure seamless production processes. In this role, you will oversee daily press room operations and maintain high safety and quality standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, motivate team members, and uphold the integrity of our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate daily press room operations to make sure production schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery requirements are achieved. Schedule and assign work to operators, setup personnel, and lead personnel to maximize productivity and workflow efficiency. Promptly identify, address, and resolve issues affecting safety, quality, productivity, equipment performance, or employee performance. Conduct daily production meetings and communicate department goals, production priorities, quality expectations, safety concerns, staffing needs, and performance metrics. Monitor attendance, staffing levels, and workforce availability; coordinate employee coverage and overtime requirements to ensure production objectives are achieved. Coordinate with Scheduling, Quality, Maintenance, Shipping, Tool Room, and Plant Management to resolve production issues and support operational goals. Monitor product quality throughout production, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, blueprints, inspection criteria, and internal quality standards. Ensure machinery, equipment, tooling, and work areas are maintained in safe operating condition and communicate maintenance needs promptly. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience leading production teams and managing schedules in a manufacturing environment; metal stamping, fabrication, welding, assembly, or related industrial manufacturing operations. Demonstrated experience in employee development, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning. Able to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, production schedules, and manufacturing documentation. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gages, protractors, and related inspection equipment. Able to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing production demands. Able to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods. Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, oil, vibration, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. Able to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as necessary to support business needs.

Pay:

$57,500.00 - $64,000.00 per year
