Primary Function:
Under the direct supervision of District Manager, The Centralized Processing Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of apparel sorting and processing within the processing center. This role ensures that all donated clothing is evaluated against quality standards, accurately categorized by gender, type, size, and appropriately priced to maximize revenue and meet sales goals for each store location it serves. The Centralized Processing Manager is accountable for meeting production quotas/KPI's, maintaining proper staffing levels, and driving team performance to support consistent product flow. A key focus of this role is the training and development of processors to uphold quality, pricing, and tagging standards, with special attention to identifying high-value items for premium pricing for best brands, while still meeting production standards. This position plays a critical role in balancing efficiency, quality, and revenue generation within the retail stores.
Essential Functions:
Develop daily/weekly production plans to meet and or exceed quotas Allocate labor, materials and equipment efficiently Adjust schedules as needed to handle staff shortages, delays or equipment issues Monitor all stations, equipment and supplies Identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies Supervise and support team members Train new employees and cross-train existing staff Foster a team-oriented culture focused on meeting goals Focus on team building and retention strategies Ensure quality meets company standards Implement quality assurance checks Investigate quality issues quickly Track progress toward daily/weekly quotas Analyze the production dashboard to identify trends and improve efficiency Prepare reports for senior management on production, downtime and labor. Enforce and follow all safety policies and practices Ensure Safety meetings and drills are performed Report, respond and submit all incidents Coordinate with transportation to ensure apparel is readily available Reduce waste by overseeing salvage before transport Recommend and implement process improvements Collaborate with store management on specific needs

Qualifications:
Supervisory experience for at least one year High School diploma or equivalent Some college preferred; 4-6 years of related training or experience in lieu of degree
Physical Requirements:
Most activities involve repetitive upper body movement and bending. The employee must regularly lift and/or move a minimum of 25 pounds Must have good hand-eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus While performing this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, push, and pull.
Typical Work Environment:
While performing this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time but works primarily indoors and/or at facility entrance; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate While performing this job, the employee may be exposed to some hazardous waste dust and dirt While performing this job, the employee will be supervising and training individuals with social, mental, and emotional disabilities. As well as barriers such as, social economic statuses, education, and justice involved.
