Job Description

Field Project Supervisor (FPS) Job Summary The Field Project Supervisor (FPS) oversees and leads a team of 5+ Field Project Merchandisers (FPMs) while executing in-store merchandising projects, fixture installations, and planogram resets across multiple retail locations. This role ensures all project work meets client standards, stays on schedule, and is completed safely and accurately. The FPS is responsible for on-site leadership, quality control, team coordination, and clear communication with management and clients. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & On-Site Supervision Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 5+ FPMs during project execution. Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure project timelines are met. Conduct on-site problem-solving and adjust workload or workflow as needed. Ensure all team members follow company policies, safety protocols, and client requirements. Project Execution & Quality Control Oversee planogram execution, fixture installation, signage setup, and merchandising resets. Verifying all work meets OutFront Merchandising Services LLC and client standards. Review and interpret project documents including schematics, planograms, and assembly instructions. Perform hands-on merchandising and fixture work alongside the team when needed. Communication & Reporting Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, store personnel, and internal managers. Provide daily updates on project status, progress, and any issues requiring escalation. Ensure completion reports, photos, and documentation are submitted accurately and on time. Skills & Requirements Strong leadership skills with experience supervising field or project teams. Ability to read and interpret planograms, schematics, and assembly documents. Proficient with basic tools (hammer, screwdrivers, socket set, drill) and comfortable with hands-on work. Ability to operate pallet jacks and lift equipment (training available). Comfortable use of handheld devices and computer portals for instructions and reporting. Ability to travel extensively, including overnights and multi-day projects. Capable of lifting 60 lbs , standing/walking for long periods, and performing physical labor. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle. Ideal Candidate A proactive, organized leader with strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to motivate a team in fast-paced, travel-based retail project environments.
