Role:
The Manufacturing Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating manufacturing staff, optimizing workflow, and maintaining production schedules to meet organizational goals. The supervisor will lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They act as a key liaison between management and production teams, facilitating clear communication and problem resolution. Ultimately, the Manufacturing Supervisor ensures that products are manufactured on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing directly to the company's operational success.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards. Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools. Certification in safety management or supervisory training programs. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Ensure working performance Ensure process working orders on schedule considering available capacity in close alignment with MRP Controller Ensure correct closing of working orders including confirmation, scrap and material consumption. Customize and optimize organizational and manufacturing process flows on work centers. It is involved in design of work center and machines. Monitoring and ensuring inventory in the production supply area and work in process inventory. Support and inform to ensure the technical machine availability. Support maintenance to execute the maintenance and repair of equipment by making the equipment available. Inform the status of the machine to Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, Team Leader Manufacturing and Production Controller. Ensure Quality assurance concerning production quality and inspection tasks. Monitor production quality, analyze defects, rework and scrap and provide results to quality assurance. Participate with the measurement of setting and implementing quality standards. Leading employees Disciplinary and functional guiding of employees. Guiding, instructing and training employees. Monitor working performance, verify working results. Ensure the compliance of safety regulations. Participate in continuous improvement process concerning productivity and quality. Other duties as assigned.
