Full Job Description Description:
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Service Foreman. The Service Foreman exercises direct supervision of hourly personnel. Assists, when necessary, in diagnosis of mechanical difficulties, recommending needed repairs, greeting customers, writing repair orders and estimating the costs of repairs within set guidelines. Supervises service and maintenance technicians. Schedules and assigns work as required. Checks and reviews work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled. Inspects and, if necessary, road tests vehicles upon completion of work. Administers warranty, keeping the Service & Maintenance Managers advised of all warranty in process. Assures that all necessary information pertaining to warranty and policy claims are obtained and recorded on the repair order, and that all warranty parts are properly tagged and placed in the warranty room. Performs productive work as required. Informs Service Manager of all customer complaints so they may be handled before the vehicle leaves the shop. Assists in maintaining a clean shop area and making sure that special tools and shop equipment are in proper operating condition. Keeps the Office Coordinator informed on shop bills which run over customer credit limits or will require his approval. Pre-plans parts requirements. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
CDL preferred. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have good employee and customer service skills. Minimum four years' experience in related field, which should include a proven service background and knowledge of warranties. Good leadership abilities. Must have a positive can-do attitude.
