Production Supervisor Dietary Supplements / GMP / SQF

Job Summary We are a small dietary supplement manufacturing company in Moultrie, GA seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations. This is a hands-on supervisory role. The right person will manage production employees, keep production running efficiently, and make sure all manufacturing activities are performed according to GMP requirements, company SOPs, batch records, FDA dietary supplement regulations, and SQF documentation requirements . We are looking for someone with prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably dietary supplements, food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or a similar GMP facility. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities and production employees. Coordinate production work based on the daily and weekly production schedule. Ensure production is completed accurately, safely, and on time. Train, direct, and monitor production employees to make sure procedures are followed. Review and maintain production paperwork, including batch records, production logs, cleaning logs, and related documentation. Ensure all production work follows company SOPs, GMP requirements, and FDA dietary supplement manufacturing requirements. Maintain accurate SQF records and assist with SQF compliance activities. Make sure batch records are completed correctly, clearly, and in a timely manner. Monitor production areas for cleanliness, organization, safety, and compliance. Verify that equipment, utensils, rooms, and work areas are cleaned and documented properly before and after production. Help identify and correct production errors, documentation issues, or process deviations. Report production problems, employee issues, maintenance needs, quality concerns, or compliance issues to management. Assist with SOP updates, employee training records, and continuous improvement of production processes. Work closely with warehouse, quality, and management to ensure materials, labels, packaging, and finished goods are handled properly. Help prepare for internal audits, customer audits, FDA inspections, and SQF audits. Maintain a professional, clean, and compliant production environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Production Lead, Manufacturing Supervisor, or similar role. Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of batch records, SOPs, production documentation, and manufacturing compliance. Experience with dietary supplements, food manufacturing, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or related industries preferred. Ability to supervise a small production team in a hands-on environment. Strong attention to detail, especially with documentation and records. Ability to follow and enforce SOPs, GMPs, safety rules, and company procedures. Good communication and leadership skills. Ability to train employees and hold them accountable. Basic computer skills for completing or reviewing records, forms, and reports. Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced small business environment. Preferred Qualifications Dietary supplement manufacturing experience. Knowledge of

FDA 21 CFR

Part 111 dietary supplement GMP requirements. Experience with SQF, food safety programs, audits, or inspection readiness. Experience reviewing or completing master manufacturing records and batch production records. Experience with powders, capsules, tablets, packaging, labeling, blending, or similar supplem ent production processes. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the production area during the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with powders, ingredients, packaging materials, and production equipment. Must be able to follow hygiene, PPE, safety, and GMP requirements.
