Job Description

Shift Supervisor
  • 2nd Shift | $31
  • 36/hr We're working with a stable, established manufacturer to find a 2nd shift supervisor who values leading others and being rewarded for their efforts. If you're the person on your current shift who everyone goes to when something breaks down, who knows how to get the best out of people, and who takes pride in running a clean, safe, efficient operation

The Details Pay:
$31
  • 36/hr all-in (base pay reflects experience, plus a $1/hr premium just for working 2nd shift)
Hours:
2 PM
  • 10:00
PM Team:
7-10 operators reporting directly to you
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with overtime and occasional weekends as needed What the Job Actually Looks Like You're running the shift. That means owning the handoff from 1st shift, keeping your team on task, making sure quality and safety standards don't slip, and communicating clearly up the chain when something needs attention. Day to day you'll be: Leading, training, and developing your team
  • not just supervising them Managing shift handoffs and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between shifts Verifying batch records and keeping production documentation accurate Troubleshooting problems on the floor and jumping in when needed Tracking yield, schedule adherence, and machine performance

You need real experience leading people in a manufacturing environment.
More specifically:
You've supervised a production team before and can point to how you made it better You follow through
  • on shifts, on commitments, on holding people accountable You catch details others miss, especially when it comes to quality and safety You're a straight communicator
  • your team knows where they stand and so does management Forklift experience is a plus.
