Job Description

Are you passionate about artisanal bread and experienced in managing dynamic teams in production or factory setting? Are you a hands-on and active leader? We want to hear from you! We're seeking a Production Manager to join our nationally recognized wholesale bakery. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, enhancing operations, accelerating growth, and improving our overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead our bread baking team with positivity and enthusiasm. Develop team members through coaching, training, and mentoring. Ensure production efficiency and maintain exceptional bread quality on the bakery floor. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, equipment performance, and product quality. Collaborate with the VP of Operations to optimize staffing, equipment use, and work conditions. Maintain compliance with food safety and operations safety standards. Oversee plant sanitation and maintenance for a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a fast paced commercial production facility. Proven track record of hard work, skill development, and outstanding performance. Effective communication, collaborative leadership, and active listening skills. Possession or willingness to obtain food safety certificates. Experience in coaching, training, and staff development.
