Position:
Production Team Lead (3rd Shift)Pay:
$24- $28 per hour depending on experience Full-time, hourly, overtime eligible, benefits after 90 days, monthly bonus opportunities, Health, vision dental benefits, 401k, life insurance
Duties:
Production Oversight & Efficiency Ensure production lines are properly set up before the start of each shift for smooth operations. Monitor daily production targets, KPIs, and efficiency metrics, ensuring teams meet or exceed goals. Assist in resolving machine issues and minor technical troubleshooting to maintain uptime. Ensure all quality control procedures and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines are followed. Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste, downtime, and defects. Team Leadership & Coordination Lead and motivate production teams, ensuring a positive and high-performance culture. Communicate daily goals, safety protocols, and production expectations to team members. Work closely with Production Supervisors, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow. Assist with labor scheduling, staffing adjustments, and cross-training employees to maximize efficiency. Quality, Compliance & Safety Ensure all safety guidelines, procedures, and equipment safeguards are in place and followed. Conduct regular quality checks and report any deviations to the Production Supervisor. Assist in maintaining accurate production paperwork, batch records, and compliance reports. Foster a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring proper shift-to-shift handovers. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Production Readiness- Ensure all production lines are fully prepared at the start of each shift. Productivity & Efficiency
- Achieve a 100% daily target completion rate while minimizing downtime. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure batch records, quality paperwork, and regulatory standards are met. Equipment Knowledge & Troubleshooting
- Develop expertise in production line machinery, resolving 95% of common issues independently. Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Maintain a motivated and engaged workforce through clear communication and proactive leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in wet wipes, personal care, or similar industries. Previous leadership experience as a Line Lead, Shift Lead, or similar role. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve production issues. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to keep operations on track. Ability to read and complete production reports, batch records, and compliance documentation. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), OSHA safety regulations, and quality control procedures. Strong communication skills to lead and coordinate teams effectively. Get to know Us!
