GM of Manufacturing Job Summary The Assembly Foreman is responsible for ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This role provides hands-on leadership to assembly team members and line leaders, supports training and performance, and acts as the primary point of contact for their respective department. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate assembly team activities to meet production schedules and output goals. This includes setting up the 2nd shift Assembly team for success Assign work, monitor workflow, and balance labor to ensure efficient operations Ensure all assembly processes are performed according to work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures Train, coach, and mentor assembly employees and line leaders; support onboarding of new team members Monitor quality and address defects or process issues in real time Communicate production status, issues, and improvement opportunities to GM of Manufacturing Enforce company policies, safety rules, and housekeeping (5S) standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly, with prior lead or supervisory experience preferred Strong understanding of assembly processes, quality control, and safety practices Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blue prints, and production schedules Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Skills Bilingual in both English and Spanish is a must Capable of working in a fast-paced environment Hands on leader that can drive productivity and hold team members accountable Ability to drive a forklift
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
