Receiving Supervisor 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars The Receiving Supervisor has a very important role in ensuring product integrity of seed received at the plant. Other essential job functions may include but not limited to:

• Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company Quality Management System.
• Verifying hilum purity, moisture content, contaminants and mechanical damage by performing a soak test on every truck load of seed received prior to unloading
• Thorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrity
• Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment
• Ensure product integrity by avoiding variety mixtures in receiving bins
• Assist in coordinating seed arrival from on-farm storage
• Assists the Conditioning Supervisor and Conditioning Operator in the conditioning tower as needed
• Lead other employees in the receiving area
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area

Pay:

$19.50 - $21.50 per hour
