Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Supervisor to lead daily milling operations and oversee a team of machinists in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead CNC milling operators and setup technicians Schedule daily workloads to meet production deadlines and efficiency targets Ensure CNC programs, setups, tooling, and fixturing are correct and optimized Monitor machining processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering as needed Train, coach, and evaluate CNC milling staff Enforce safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures Maintain production documentation and reports Coordinate maintenance and minimize machine downtime Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, process optimization) Qualifications Minimum 5 years of CNC milling experience , including supervisory or lead experience Strong knowledge of CNC mills (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions Experience with CNC programming or editing (Mastercam or similar preferred) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection processes High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred Preferred Skills Experience in a high-mix, low-volume or production environment Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Pay:
$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
