Job Description

About the role: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations and projects for production.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, GMP, and HACCP requirements. Supervise Change Over Coordinators, Shift Coordinators, and Operators. Audit shift performance across molding, retail, CCC, and receiving areas, including startups and changeovers. Investigate safety concerns and conduct regular site inspections. Monitor and improve line performance based on daily speed standards. Review finished products for quality, packaging, and code compliance. Drive waste reduction, rework, and yield improvement initiatives. Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of departmental equipment. Maintain KPI tracking and visual management boards. Identify training needs and ensure employee training and cross-training, including agency staff. Evaluate employee performance, manage timecards, handle injury reports, and support hiring processes.
About you:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a food-manufacturing environment. Minimum two (2) years of people leadership experience. Ability to stand for long periods of time on a concrete floor. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Long periods of computer usage; finger dexterity and hand movement for use of keyboard and mouse, repetitive motion. Kneel, squat, bend, stoop; frequently. Push/pull up to 50 lbs using assisted equipment. Ability to walk up and down stairs, frequently. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
