Direct Hire Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support a growing manufacturing and repair operation in the Franklin, Indiana area. This direct-hire leadership role is ideal for someone who can drive safety, quality, delivery, and production performance while leading teams in a fast-paced shop floor environment. The right candidate will bring prior supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage production priorities, throughput, training, traceability, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of production leadership, supervision, or manufacturing operations experience Proven ability to lead teams in a high-tempo production environment Experience setting daily, weekly, and monthly production priorities Strong ability to analyze throughput, capacity, and workflow Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass required screening Preferred Skills & Qualifications MRO, OEM, or regulated manufacturing experience Experience with Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement Experience with traceability, documentation, and process accountability Working knowledge of FAA-regulated or highly compliant production environments Experience reading blueprints and technical documentation ERP experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting Strong mechanical or technical background Lean Six Sigma certification or training Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead a segment of the production team to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives based on plant targets Organize and prioritize parts/components on the shop floor and communicate expected completion timelines Analyze production activity to support throughput and capacity planning Oversee employee training needs and hiring support based on demand Maintain traceability of part numbers, serial numbers, and paperwork Partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and plant leadership to resolve issues Drive housekeeping, responsiveness, communication, and continuous improvement across operations

Physical expectations and working conditions associated with the job may include standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in a manufacturing environment with regular shop floor presence.
