Job Title:
Production Lead - Night Shift (Bilingual Spanish/English)
Location:
Indianapolis, IN Company Overview One of our clients, a privately owned packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Bilingual Night Shift Production Lead to join their growing operations team. The company is known for its quality-focused manufacturing environment, innovative approach, and strong team culture centered around operational excellence and efficiency. Position Summary We are looking for a hands-on Production Lead to oversee night shift manufacturing operations and ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. This individual will play a key leadership role in managing workflow, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement on the production floor.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday | 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards Lead, train, and mentor a team of 6-8 employees on assembly processes and proper tool usage Monitor production schedules and output to ensure operational targets are met Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and organized manufacturing environment Partner with management to identify process improvements and implement best practices Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and recommend efficiency improvements Maintain accurate production records and reports Foster a positive team environment while ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role Bilingual (Spanish/English) required Basic computer proficiency Reliable transportation Ability to remain active on the production floor for extended periods (8-10 hours) Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs., with or without assistance Experience safely operating hand tools and power tools Familiarity with assembly line and warehouse operations Strong leadership, communication, and team motivation skills Detail-oriented with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality standards Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement
