CDR ProSource is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team near Milford, IN . The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated individual with strong work ethics, leadership abilities, and a commitment to driving results in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule:
1st shift hours are 6am to 5pm or later M-F. to finish (average 10-hour shifts) Weekends Off Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct production staff by coordinating daily activities, communicating expectations, and resolving operational issues Ensure production efficiency, product quality, food safety, and employee safety within the department Train, coach, evaluate, and discipline employees in accordance with company policies and procedures Prepare for production by verifying equipment readiness, setting operational parameters, and ensuring proper production flow Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications; take corrective action as needed Evaluate operational performance including line speeds, staffing levels, and workflow efficiency Collaborate with USDA personnel to address and resolve regulatory concerns Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including participation in pre-operational inspections Ensure adherence to HACCP programs, SSOPs, and all regulatory and company policies Coordinate and support employee training programs related to production processes, food safety, OSHA, and company procedures Work cross-functionally with departments to align production goals and operational needs Partner with Human Resources on employee relations including hiring, attendance, performance management, and disciplinary actions Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues and escalate as necessary Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or process improvement efforts Perform related duties as required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred 1-3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or food processing required (poultry or protein industry preferred) Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred; strong leadership potential will be considered Working knowledge of food manufacturing processes, USDA regulations, HACCP, and SSOPs Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production management systems (e.g., CAT2 or similar) preferred Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Must be able to read, write, and speak English Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance

From $70,000.00 per year
