Production Supervisor - Second Shift

Supervising employees including the assigning of job duties, ensuring KPI's & quality are met and recorded daily. Supporting and ensuring product being produced meets Cellofoam Quality specifications and requirements. The completion of daily production reports and shift paperwork as required. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures. Supervise and verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run, ability to operate and shut down manufacturing equipment safely. Verify order information and produce part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within required quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards and on time delivery. Supervise shift, machine start up, monitor their operations, and record operational data. Supervisor must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Supervising, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees. Perform other production duties as requested by Plant or Production Managers. Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve issues. Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others. Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding plant or employee concerns. Maintain a working knowledge and is in full compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal anti-trust laws. Adhere to Cellofoam North America Inc.

Mechanical:

General Knowledge of machinery and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance Ability to use and articulate measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, weigh scales)

Quality Control and Analysis:

Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

Troubleshooting:

Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Position Requirements and Qualifications 1 to 3 years of prior experience in manufacturing management environment Organizational, communication and team building skills Software Skills Required Computer proficiency Ability to read and understand CAD and blueprints preferred Other Information Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as required. Floor production position - working in production environment majority of time Overtime work may be required.
