Manufacturing Floor Lead Maverick Tech Kansas City, KS Job Details Full-time $38.38 - $76.18 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Safety regulations Safety standards in production Supervising experience Quality control Quality standards in production Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description About the Role As a Manufacturing Floor Lead, you will oversee melt shop operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. You will lead a diverse team of 10-18 personnel, including maintenance staff and production operators, to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced foundry environment. Responsibilities Direct daily melt shop activities, optimizing manpower and scheduling to achieve production goals. Manage equipment maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and maximize operational output. Foster a high-performance culture by selecting, training, and motivating team members to ensure cost-effective operations. Uphold rigorous safety and housekeeping standards to maintain a secure and compliant work environment. Resolve employee grievances and foster positive working relationships through fair and equitable leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to troubleshoot process issues and implement capital projects. Qualifications Required Skills 3-5 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong understanding of Quality Control principles, including Statistical Process Control (SPC). Proven ability to lead, communicate, and organize multi-disciplinary teams. Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and maintenance best practices. Preferred Skills Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies and tooling. Background in capital project management and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Demonstrated success in managing inventory and supply chain coordination.
