Summary We are looking for an experienced Lead Welder to oversee daily operations for our welding departments. This position will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of product completed in their department and the quality of the product being produced. Our expectations are that you posses a deep know-how coupled with a can-do attitude in production processes/procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive welding process that meets customer expectations, while fostering an engaged workforce. Benefits Excellent pay that rewards you for your performance Comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time, holidays & sick time 401(K) with company match Required Experiences Welding Certification is preferred 5+ years of welding experience Able to read and interrupt multipage Weld separately or in combination of, using stainless steel, cast iron and other Must have solid working knowledge of current welding materials and procedures 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience Keen organizational skills Ability to work within a team environment developing long term relationships within the organization Proven experience as production leader Understanding of quality standards Outstanding communication ability Excellent organizational and leaderships skills Ability to manage time and work independently or with other team members Attention to detail Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements Supervise, direct and evaluate performance of production personnel Monitor daily and weekly production levels and resolve issues that interfere Enforce health and safety policies by setting the standard for workplace Report to upper management Other Duties as required or assigned by leadership
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or sitting for long periods of time Climbing ladders to reach ceilings and other high objects Push/Pull/Lift/Moving 50 pounds repeatedly Working in adverse weather conditions Second shift: 4pm-2:30am; Monday-ThursdaySimilar remote jobs
