Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a proven Production Supervisor for a large auto parts manufacturing facility. As a Production Supervisor, you are at the heart of our manufacturing operations, directly managing the 'Produce & Deliver process' within your assigned scope. You'll lead your production team, ensuring daily targets and KPIs are met, and that customer delivery requirements are consistently satisfied. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence, fostering a strong safety culture, and developing your team's capabilities to achieve outstanding performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Human Resources (QCDH).
Duties:
Participation in the Area meeting (TOP 30 / Department meeting) with the Production Manager. Communication of previous day's results (KPIs), review of incidents and actions. Review of coverage situation by reference. Participation with the Production Manager in planning the next day's Production Shifts, distribution of available personnel in the three shifts by modules and lines. Hour-by-Hour Checks of production floor. Coordination with maintenance for possible interventions on lines. Ensure communications at shift change (TOP 5) and ensure that Shift changes and TOP 5 are executed according to standard. Provide support to leaders in the three shifts. Receive and manage incidents that occur daily and escalate them to following the Escalation Procedure. Ensure compliance with Group, internal, and especially HSE and quality rules and standards. Participate in Emergency Plans according to the role assigned to them. Ensure that Production Leaders fulfill their functions. Experience Three to five years proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment with hands-on mechanical knowledge. Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing facility, auto manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with assembly line processes and use of hand tools and power tools. Strong understanding of safety procedures within a manufacturing setting Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to lead teams and coordinate across departments. High school diploma required. Ability to work any shift needed.
