Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Manager to lead our 2nd shift operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a pivotal part of our production team, you will oversee daily department activities, ensure seamless production flow, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will inspire teams to meet quality standards, optimize processes, and uphold safety protocols. Duties Supervise and coordinate all manufacturing activities during the 2nd shift to meet production targets and quality standards Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across the plant Oversee quality control procedures, ensuring products meet specifications and regulatory requirements Collaborate with maintenance teams to address mechanical issues promptly and minimize downtime Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of plant operations and assembly processes Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar MRP (Material Requirements Planning) platforms for production planning and supply chain management Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement strategies Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and support maintenance activities Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflicts, and foster a safety-first culture Excellent analytical skills in supply chain analytics and operations management to optimize workflows Effective communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure clarity in operational directives Join us as a Shift Manager - 2nd shift and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
