Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervises furnace operations with the objective of maximizing productivity of quality products while minimizing costs Audits work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met Trains and evaluates plant personnel Assists with and participates in experimental and developmental methods and improvement programs Oversees operations coordinating work activities with maintenance assignments/projects Prepares requisitions for purchasing and stocking of supplies and raw materials Maintains and updates production records and produces reports as necessary Complies with company policies, ExxonMobil Designated Position requirements, and the Standards of Business Conduct Adheres to general and job specific safety, environmental, and quality guidelines/procedures Performs other duties as assigned Education/Experience -

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

High school diploma or GED required (Bachelors degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field preferred) Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting with roles of increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of work experience and formal education Minimum of 2 plus years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Exhibits leadership skills and accountability to coordinate work activities for assigned employees in an effective and safe manner Ability to be the team leader for the local operations and maintain the open door/union free policies of the company Basic computer skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manual Reasoning skills to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Ability to work in a high temperature, non-production line setting in a multi-level building and, at times, confined spaces Ability to work a rotating shift schedule as assigned, including nights and weekends, as well as flexibility to provide job coverage for co-workers in addition to the regular schedule

Work Environment:

This individual works in a multi-level industrial environment requiring work in high precarious places via ladders and steps inside and outside the plant in all types of weather conditions. This individual is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and some hazardous chemicals. The plant utilizes high levels of electricity and individuals have to be safety minded in all activities.
