In this role, you will assist skilled machinists in preparing, maintaining, and operating various CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Your energetic approach and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to our manufacturing efficiency and product excellence. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills in machining, fabrication, and materials handling within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assist with setting up and operating CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tasks under supervision. Support the use of manual tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet strict quality standards. Handle materials and supplies safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment to support production workflows. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machine shop area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Requirements Prior machine shop or oilfield experience a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and basic shop equipment safely and effectively. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred. Strong attention to detail with good math skills for measurements and calculations.
