Job Description

Manual Machinist Foreman $1,800 WEEKLY Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!
Key Requirements:
Lead, supervise, and schedule a team of machinists and helpers. Assign work based on priority, vessel schedules, and shop capacity. Ensure proper manpower allocation across simultaneous jobs. Manual lathes and mills, Line boring equipment Portable machining tools (as needed for field work) Execute shaft repairs, sleeve work, flange resurfacing, and custom partfabrication. Interpret drawings, sketches, and field measurements to produce accurate components. Preferred, shipyard or marine repair experience. Experience with shaft work, bearing fits, and repair machining Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and field measurements
Shifts:
Monday -Friday 0700-4:00 PM Overtime, nights, and weekends as required to support vessel schedules.
