OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic Production & Quality Supervisor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive safety initiatives, streamline operations, and support administrative functions that enhance overall business performance. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OPX
  • Assist OPX Director during trainings
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for training topics
  • Prepare conference room for trainings
  • Maintain calendar with scheduled trainings
  • Assist with creating OPX Manual for Supervisors and OPX Program Update and maintain electronic files on One Drive
  • Assist supervisors in maintaining Blue Books
  • File and destroy documentation based on retention requirements
Safety:
  • Assist Safety Director and OSHA Consultant
  • Safety Committee Secretary
  • attend monthly meetings and maintain meeting minutes
  • Maintain and organize electronic and paper files
  • Ensure PPB is readily available to distribute when necessary
  • Maintain inventory of PPB
  • Order additional safety supplies that are not PPB
  • Update and maintain Safety Data Sheets electronically and in binders
  • Ensure Chemical Inventory List is up to date
  • Conduct New Employee Safety Orientations
  • File and maintain training documentation on One Drive
  • File updated safety policies
  • Schedule and send training reminders to Directors, Managers, and Supervisors
  • Administer make-up tests to employees that missed trainings
  • Maintain updated list of employees for trainings and
Evacuation Plan Administrative :
  • Serve as translator for employees (English-Spanish)
  • Translate documentation to Spanish
  • Assist Human Resources in collecting information from plant employees due to language barrier
  • Writing SOPs
  • Completed Die & Plate Receiving SOP and Sheet Ordering SOP
  • Currently working with Customer Service, Design, and Sales to create SOPs
  • Create Excel spreadsheets and reports for Directors
  • Assist Directors with collecting data for presentations
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for Directors meetings
  • Assist Quality Director with creating Quality Program Manual
  • Maintain credit documentation for Quality Director
  • Maintain constant and open communication with Directors.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Outlook / MSTeams / MSOffice
  • Ability to prioritize and handle several projects
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written skills with strong attention to detail.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Pay:
$50,000.00
