- Provide daily leadership and direction to machinists and shop personnel
- Coordinate production priorities and workflow to meet customer commitments
- Support CNC programming, setup, and machining operations as required
- Troubleshoot manufacturing, tooling, quality, and process-related issues
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and management to resolve production challenges
- Train, mentor, and develop machinists and operators
- Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality requirements
- Support quoting, process planning, and manufacturing strategy when needed Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop or production environment
- 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong machine setup and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience working with tight-tolerance machined components
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Experience
- Aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing experience
- Multi-axis CNC machining experience
- Experience with CNC Programming
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement principles
- Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection processes
