Work Experience Requirements:

• Associate's degree or experience equivalent required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisor position
• Previous foodservice manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
• Ability to complete necessary paperwork in a neat and timely fashion
• Ensure training of all new hires
• Meet established standards for quality and productivity
• Ability to maintain a high degree of morale
• Strong leadership skills

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise production team 2. Responsible for continuous improvement to Quality and Food Safety 3. Responsible for managing Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the production floor 4. Maintain and uphold finished product specifications 5. Assist in product traceback and recalls 6. Communicate with other departments to maintain an efficient and production line of cooperation 7. Report all absences, employee issues, accidents and rule infractions to Production Manager 8. Report all mechanical issues to maintenance in a timely fashion 9. Ensure all daily customer comments are read and corrective actions are done as needed 10. Responsible for training a back up to be able to handle and all your duties in your absence 11. Responsible for team meeting all efficiency standards 12. Monitor and reduce overtime as needed 13. Responsible for completion of schedule to ensure truck departure times are met 14. Maintain a clean and safe work area 15. Assist in controlling waste 16. Must meet all established standards 17. Must meet attendance requirements per Taylor Farms 18. Follow and enforce all GMP and PPE procedures per Taylor Farms requirements 19. Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations per Taylor Farms requirements 20. Follow and enforce any and all additional duties or responsibilities assigned by Production Manager Ability to work in a wet and cold environment Ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays as needed

Condition of Employment:
